History
If you are a regular visitor to Aruba since the 70’s, you probably can recall the Sun Development group, who at that time were way ahead of the times in introducing time-share to Aruba and by using the latest in construction techniques all around the island.
Being pioneers, Sun Development opened the doors of Casa del Mar Beach Resort Phase I, in October 1986. Two-bedroom Presidential suites were presented and well received. Aruba’s tourism was taking off and Sun Development was at the helm, with Phase I sold out and demand for more inventory increasing almost daily, July 1987, the second phase of Casa del Mar Beach Resort was announced, and opened in January of 1989, with many existing members buying or upgrading suites in Phase II.
With a separate building constructed in 1989, 40 additional one-bedroom suites across the street named the Ambassador Building, were added to Casa del Mar Beach Resort Aruba, which now consists of 147 well-appointed suites in total.

2022 has been a celebratory year for Casa del Mar Beach Resort, with all 40 Ambassador suites bathrooms being renovated, Casa del Mar Beach Resort & Timeshare is moving their renovations to the 107 two-bedroom Presidential suite bathrooms next. Combining this with a rebranding strategy, redesigning their logo after 37 years, a new website and different branding and marketing strategies they have decided to head for a noticeable change of direction. Looking towards the future of the resort, the next years look extremely bright for Casa del Mar Beach Resort, through their commitment to upgrading and elevating their services, the goal is continuing the prosperity of the past 37 years, well into the future.
