For today’s newspaper we received a great picture from Beth Ellyn Rosenthal.
She wrote:
“We first came to Aruba in 1989. I had been bumped on an American Airlines flight and the voucher I received was about to expire. I said to the agent, “Where is the farthest I can go?” She said “Aruba.” I had no idea where Aruba was.
We fell in love the first night on the beach. Aruba has THE best beaches on the planet. Azure blue waters with no rip tides.
We also love the people. We have many Aruban friends who we see every time we come. They taught us how to make funchi!
Austin has flown to the Netherlands to visit friends we met at Carte Blanche years ago.
Aruba is truly our second home. We love the people, the place and the food”.
