(Oranjestad)—The Aruba Today would like to congratulate the Bateson family for a big birthday celebration! We recently received a message from Karl Bateson, who told us his wife is celebrating her 50th birthday on the island. Happy Birthday!
Karl and his wife are visiting Aruba again with their five-year-old son to celebrate the big milestone. They are no strangers to the island, especially Karl. He told us he’s been visiting since 1986 and has been here almost 50 times! What started as a vacation with his parents became a beloved tradition within the family. “Loving Aruba is a family tradition!” His son, despite being only five, has been to Aruba four times already. Karl tells us he actually walked for the first time in the children’s pool at the hotel they were staying at during that time.
