Harrison Pate for sure knows how to be romantic and we are so lucky that he shared a very special moment with us. While enjoying their long-wanted vacation on Aruba Pate surprised his fiancé Grace Kelley in an amazing way. Aruba Today’s team melted away by hearing his story and seeing the beautiful images that express their love for each other.
“My fiancé Grace Kelley and I are from Charlotte, North Carolina and celebrated our two year anniversary earlier this summer. We first started dating while Grace was finishing university. After graduation, she moved to Charlotte for her first job. Later that year, we bought our first home and the rest is history. We love to travel and have been looking forward to this vacation for months. Little did Grace know, I arranged for a private dinner sail on the Tranquilo with Anthony and Dwayne where I got down on a knee (and managed not to drop the ring overboard). We’ve loved our time in Aruba and it will always have a special place in our hearts. We look forward returning to the island for many years to come. Cheers!”
