The Brahma Kumaris are a Hindu spiritual movement that originated in Hyderabad, Sindh, during the 1930s. The Brahma Kumaris movement was founded by Lekhraj Kripalani. The organization is affiliated with the United Nations and is known for the prominent role that women play in the movement. Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao (the ABC Islands) have their Brahma Kumaris center. Although the islands are autonomous, a deeper and more profound connection unifies them as a single co-operative unit, making it possible to work together to achieve the common divine aim of the Brahma Kumaris. The aim is to encourage and inspire positive change in the world through your personal transformation, which is made possible by the daily expression of the core universal virtues of love, peace and wisdom.
