On Sunday afternoon, the Fantasy Parade took place in San Nicolas, where children enjoyed a colorful parade filled with music and a great atmosphere.
It was a parade that saw participation from six groups: Don Flip, Little Groovers, Empire Carnival Group, Champagne Carnival Group, Unity Carnival Group, and lastly TOB Carnival Group.
The children shone in their bright colors, and it was great to see them dancing and singing together with their parents and family during the parade. There was also a special appearance by the winner of the Youth Tumba, Melody Franken, who also enjoyed the lively atmosphere in San Nicolas.
The parade started at 2:00 p.m. and followed the familiar route in San Nicolas, starting on Joe Laveist, going to Lago Weg, Pastoor Henrickstraat, and ending back on Joe Laveist.
It was certainly a pleasant afternoon for the children, where they were able to “warm up” for the upcoming parades, looking ahead with special anticipation to the children’s parades still to come.
