(Oranjestad)—Friends of Aruba, David and Cindy Adams, have recently reached out to Aruba Today to tell us about their long-time connection to the island. This year, they’ve been recognized by the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) for 30 years of consecutive visits to Aruba!
Over the years they have met many beautiful people and have watched generations of families on the island. The friends they have now are considered their extended family, and they keep in touch until they visit again. They also hold close to their heart the friends who they’ve lost over the years. “They will never be forgotten; they are as much loved when we deplaned as the ones we still meet each year.”
During the last 30 years, David and Cindy have formed a special bond with locals and the hard working staff at the hotel at which they own a time-share. “We have shared so much together: family milestones, everyday life moments, dinners, parking lot chats, a cup of coffee, a smile, a wave.” To them, Aruba is a chapter in their life that means more than they can express.
Their children have also been part of their Aruban “dream”. One of them, their son Bryan, even owns his own time-share week. Recently, Bryan’s son, Bryson, also received an honoring from the ATA for visiting the island for 10 consecutive years. “This day was a very proud moment for David and I; 30 years for us and 10 years for one of our grandchildren. We are so blessed and honored to be a part of this wonderful Island.”
Congrats to David, Cindy and Bryan for their recognition. We are always glad to hear how much our readers’ love Aruba; we love our tiny home and it makes us happy to hear you love it too!
