On Thursday, May 8th, the Deja Vu Group celebrated the official launch of CasaGo Aruba, marking an exciting new chapter in the island’s vacation rental landscape.

The evening brought together partners, competitors, industry professionals, family members, and dignitaries—including the Honorable Minister of Tourism, Transport and Labour—all of whom were personally thanked during a heartfelt speech by Gerald Sarmiento, Managing Director of Deja Vu Group and co-founder of Dejavu Aruba.

“This evening marks the official launch of CasaGo Aruba, a brand that stands on the shoulders of two strong foundations,” Sarmiento said. “First, Dejavu Aruba, the group I proudly co-founded, which is deeply rooted in hospitality excellence. And second, the company we acquired last year: Aruba Happy Rentals—a name that’s been trusted in this market for over 17 years.”

CasaGo Aruba is part of an international franchise network, but its mission is grounded in local insight and a deep commitment to service. The brand offers a seamless, high-quality platform for short-term vacation rentals, specializing in luxury homes, apartments, and condominiums tailored to the middle- and high-end travel market.

What sets CasaGo Aruba apart is its three-in-one offering:

Vacation rentals for short stays

Long-term rentals through its sister company, Aruba Happy Rentals

And even commercial rental solutions for businesses
Beyond real estate, the launch event also introduced a powerful social initiative: the Casago Aruba Scholarship, through which Casago will fully fund a scholarship for one deserving student from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management Studies (FHTMS) at the University of Aruba. This initiative reflects the company’s belief that Aruba’s brightest future lies in its people, and aims to support the next generation of local talent in tourism, hospitality, and tech.

“This scholarship is our way of investing in something even more valuable than real estate—local talent,” Sarmiento shared. “By supporting those who want to grow within tourism, hospitality, or tech, we’re not just building a business—we’re building a better industry and a better island.”

The launch underscored CasaGo Aruba’s dual mission: to deliver exceptional service to guests and homeowners, while also contributing meaningfully to the local community.

“Casago is more than a name—it’s a promise,” Sarmiento concluded. “A promise of quality service to our guests, reliable partnership to our homeowners, and opportunity to our staff.”

As CasaGo Aruba steps into the market, it does so with bold ambition, strong partnerships, and a clear vision for the future of hospitality in Aruba.
