For today we received a lovely message from Fred & Donna from Metuchen, New Jersey, USA.

They wrote to us saying: “Aruba to us is, ‘Floating on Blue Waters’.”

It has been a good 15 plus years that my husband and I first visited Aruba. We try to take some time off each year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our most recent visit, 2024, was for our 36th anniversary.

I LOVE the beach. The day-to-day grind can be overwhelming and taxing at times, so the beach, to me, is a form of natural relaxation, peace and grounding with natural surroundings. Living in the Northeast, although plenty of beaches, the waters are not blue and serene. So, to be able to spend time decompressing watching the waves, being in the water, floating seeing blue skies, feeling the sand between our toes, wind in our hair, moves us to a place of peace like not much else.

When life is just a grind and becomes a bit too much for the day-to-day tolerance, Aruba is a place to let the ocean wash those cares away, even if only for just a short time.

Also, how could we leave out the food? Some of the best, hands down.

Thank you for sending us this wonderful message sharing what Aruba means to you with us and our readers!
