For today we received a lovely message from Antoinetta DeWit, from Canada.
They wrote to us saying: “There are many reasons I love Aruba. Attending this year’s International Day of Peace was my number one reason today (September 21). The Peace Tree is more than just a tree; it is a global symbol of collaboration and love for our planet and all who (and all things that) live here. The roots of the trees metaphorically create connections as we do in our thinking and messaging. This is a movement that transcends borders, cultures, and generations. It seems like a small effort but every effort to show respect for our Earth and each other on this International Day of Peace and every day, makes a difference … this tree on Aruba is native to the Island. It can be viewed at Club Kibrahacha. It is called Pal-i Sia Cora.”
Thank you for sending us this wonderful message sharing what Aruba means to you with us and our readers!
