Ray Ellin hosts and produces the shows. Ray is also the host of the podcast “Wild Nights on the Prairie.” He has produced a new film coming out later this year called “No Longer, Not Yet.”
Considered by his peers to be the best host in NYC, Ray is known as “Aruba Ray” because of his passion for Aruba. Ray has been coming to Aruba every month for the past twelve years, and produces and hosts these incredible comedy shows on the island. He is a popular comedian in New York, and has brought his talent and colleagues to Aruba.
In addition to doing the shows, Ray has supported many causes in Aruba, including being on the board of the One Love Foundation, which helps the dogs and cats of Aruba, and has led book drives for Aruban kids for years.
Ray has appeared on many television programs; he executive produced the Comedy Central television show “This Week at the Cellar,” hosted the popular talk show “Late Net,” and hosted the television shows “The Movie Loft,” “Brain Fuel,” and “New York Now.” He also produced and directed the very successful film “The Latin Legends of Comedy,” distributed by 20th Century Fox.
The comedy shows are at 8:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until August 14th.
