The resort’s submission, “The Path to Carbon Neutrality,” highlights the culmination of its
efforts to provide a vacation that is as sustainable as it is memorable. The award-winning
submission is one of more than 2000 received from 180 countries. It will now compete for an International Energy Globe Award and the ultimate World Energy Globe Award set to be

Owner/CEO and noted environmentalist Ewald Biemans was a panelist at the United Nation’s
International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development Forum in Washington D.C. last
